Feminism: an organised movement for the attainment of equal rights for women.<br />
A feminist is anyone who supports the feminist movement. You don't have to be female to be a feminist, but you need to believe that women are worthy of having equal rights and opportunities as men. Many feminists support the feminist movement if it benefits them, forgetting about the majority of people who are oppressed in other ways then gender, such as race and religion. Being a feminist means supporting the idea that all women should have equal rights, and these rights should also be equal to men's rights.<br />
<br />
I'm proud to be a feminist at 16, and I think that no matter who you are you should be proud if you are also a feminist. Many people are opposed to or afraid of feminism, but it is important to support feminism within society to show young women that their rights are important and they shouldn't grow up believing they aren't worthy of having equal rights to men. People shouldn't be afraid to admit that they are a feminist; they should be proud that they are working for change.<br />
<br />
People have always been opposed to feminism. An early feminist group were the Suffragettes, who campaigned for women to have the right to vote - a right that men had already had. Many people (both men and women) didn't support the suffragettes even though they campaigned for a change that would change the voting system for the better. Many men thought that they were irrational and thought women were incapable of voting, and so were against the Suffragettes and the idea of feminism. This mentality is still present in many men (and women) today, believing that women don't need equal rights as they are inferior to men.<br />
<br />
The government also plays a vital role in deciding women's rights. Even though in the UK we have a female Prime Minister, the majority of parliament past and present is made up of men, who have a large role in deciding women's rights. A female leader should empower women and help them achieve equal status, but this doesn't happen. In the USA women are having their rights snatched away with each passing day, due to the decisions of those in power. Women need to be taught from a young age that they are valuable and deserve equal rights to men.<br />
<br />
I believe that feminism shouldn't exist. There shouldn't have to be a political movement campaigning for women to have equal rights, we should automatically have them. We should all be seen as equals and we all deserve rights that will protect us and help us grow within society. This not only applies to women, but also people of colour and members of the LGBT community, as they are the people who are most vulnerable in society; but are the least protected and have the fewest rights.<br />
<br />
It is important that young teenage girls are taught about feminism and learn that it's not a bad thing to be a feminist. They should learn about the works of early feminists who campaigned for women to have a right that men already had, and how this led to women obtaining that right. They should learn that they are worthy of respect and to speak up in what they believe in. They should also be taught that they can do anything they set their mind to, even if it's something only men have done previously. Most importantly, it is important to teach young girls that no one can take away their rights.<br />
<br />
Even though the feminist movement gains supporters every day, no changes are being made to women's rights to make the world a safer place for them. And as it becomes a wide-spread movement, it gains opponents too. More people need to learn that wanting equal rights for both men and women isn't negative and shouldn't be frowned upon.<br />
Do you want your future daughter growing up in a world where women aren't safe?<br />
Do you want your daughter growing up in a world where a lot of women don't have basic rights?<br />
And finally, why do men deserve more rights than women?<br />
<br />

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today I am going to be sharing some disappointing makeup items (all high end) that aren't worth the money. Some people may love these products, but they didn't work for me, and this is just my opinion.<br />
<br />
<b>1 - Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation, £26.50</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK6bMvICzLfWeMNGTSxpRI7t3lxJml0xym9pUMG8Bmbw8AiBA-sVKleAsyiiPWrhyphenhyphen96XcikvBcveDiR4j5R8W7ewxAukKRX8xwT0-6396MFyF99DkYerNDfbX1EIHLzXBQMa0HOain1mI/s1600/image1+%25287%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK6bMvICzLfWeMNGTSxpRI7t3lxJml0xym9pUMG8Bmbw8AiBA-sVKleAsyiiPWrhyphenhyphen96XcikvBcveDiR4j5R8W7ewxAukKRX8xwT0-6396MFyF99DkYerNDfbX1EIHLzXBQMa0HOain1mI/s200/image1+%25287%2529.JPG" width="70" /></a></div>
<br />
This was the first high end foundation I bought (back in February in New York) and I bought it because I generally liked Benefit as a brand and thought it would be a good choice when rushed for time in Macy's. However, after a few uses I discovered that I didn't like it. Overall, I think that the colour of the foundation is wrong for my skin, as it is far too yellow-toned (which I find with a lot of high end foundations) and it seems to be a bit dark, even though I bought the lightest shade. This is also the wrong foundation for my skin type (as it is meant for dry skin) and I find that it separates and goes patchy on my oily skin. This has the potential to be a great foundation, just not for me, and I wish that I did some research into other high end foundations before the trip, so that I could've picked one up that is better suited to my skin type.<br />
<br />
<b>2 - Pixi Colour Correcting Powder Foundation, £18</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj49HSmn4DCle2KVF63bjfsNBMf1JVWO93XOTQzEzS6s8FGVwudfWVNPjkpUFlj3Qiys4wrU8qoMTaam0r1owOzqTrED3LUhDG6fd84MkL82sDDb6d99mf75apNIUrU6FgtV8fPSb8HGk8/s1600/image2+%25286%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj49HSmn4DCle2KVF63bjfsNBMf1JVWO93XOTQzEzS6s8FGVwudfWVNPjkpUFlj3Qiys4wrU8qoMTaam0r1owOzqTrED3LUhDG6fd84MkL82sDDb6d99mf75apNIUrU6FgtV8fPSb8HGk8/s200/image2+%25286%2529.JPG" width="189" /></a></div>
<b><br /></b>
I picked this up from Marks & Spencer using a £15 voucher because I wanted to buy a new high end foundation, and I thought that a powder foundation might work better with my oily skin. I've only used this twice, once as foundation and once as a setting powder, and both times I disliked it. As a foundation I found that it didn't provide much coverage and didn't seem to colour-correct my skin (but maybe I expected a little bit too much, as I have really rosy cheeks). I also found that it settled into my pores around my nose area even after using a pore filling primer. I then saw Zoella use it in a video to set her makeup, so I thought that I would try the same, but again I found that it settled into my pores and made my makeup look cakey. There are so many better powders available that are much cheaper.<br />
<br />
<b>3 - MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks, £17.50</b><br />
<b><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_7_QhVLZssAiMWNqkbMYGPDzpenoz5u5N_pBB5wofO_B8auUqb7oLFDmzvEpGA2FnxKRJXj6i-Ls7Qos2j1y1GlRnlWNUQqTpYV3k2f5WpVuwXjeUZFc9ZSpyb9AQ12-0QFJBBFKBSY/s1600/image3+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="142" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-_7_QhVLZssAiMWNqkbMYGPDzpenoz5u5N_pBB5wofO_B8auUqb7oLFDmzvEpGA2FnxKRJXj6i-Ls7Qos2j1y1GlRnlWNUQqTpYV3k2f5WpVuwXjeUZFc9ZSpyb9AQ12-0QFJBBFKBSY/s200/image3+%25282%2529.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
</b><br />
I remember when MAC first launched these liquid lipsticks, and every youtuber raved about them and seemed to have them in every single colour. They were one of the most wanted products at the time, but at £21 they were a bit too expensive. However, when the price of them was lowered to £17.50 I couldn't resist, and I bought the shade lady be good (a warm nude) and then got the shade bing bang boom in a sweet nutcracker Christmas set (I would never normally choose a pink shade). Overall, I find these liquid lipsticks to be quite thick in formula, which results in them being very drying, but I also find that when they are applied directly over a lip balm they don't dry fully matte, and there are other high end liquid lipsticks for similar prices that appear to have a lightweight formula that aren't too drying.<br />
<br />
<b>4 - Benefit They're Real Mascara, £19.50</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhopDdHsJxUei2Xq_t9jkF8CQJT9ohpIFHr3eA6ScbXsnaVUj3IwaM81goEwdTAlwudvJtFyrz5JmGlWXS7-cogq8XLNJSKftmJdG2PrOq0YPtqYFgaanisssgnVDr4Y3jFN806b0m0BpM/s1600/image4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhopDdHsJxUei2Xq_t9jkF8CQJT9ohpIFHr3eA6ScbXsnaVUj3IwaM81goEwdTAlwudvJtFyrz5JmGlWXS7-cogq8XLNJSKftmJdG2PrOq0YPtqYFgaanisssgnVDr4Y3jFN806b0m0BpM/s200/image4.JPG" width="129" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
The they're real mascara is just like marmite, you either love it or hate it. I know a few people that love it, however most people seem to hate it. I really dislike this mascara, as I find that it makes my eyelashes feel really hard and crispy, and it does seem quite clumpy if you apply a generous amount, which also makes it hard to layer up. The main issue with this mascara is trying to remove it. I find that during the day it flakes off, and when it comes to removing it at night it doesn't seem to come off. I know that there is a special they're real remover that benefit makes, however that costs £14.50 for only 50ml of product, which also seems like a waste of money considering I hardly ever wear the mascara.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>5 - Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray, £9 for 30ml, £22 for 118ml</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHXAWONdkLO75vrHH4Ojb_6f65YlB6Ox5XuynSOHdnkiERaewyL7GUT5i-Sm_82WQtbgxHImJDKzQPeE13hmWp62iYF36eVmxYN_Rwpt8dJxAFJvwD3fJoKqgTZ_oZJpO1G2jzRbezvaU/s1600/image5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHXAWONdkLO75vrHH4Ojb_6f65YlB6Ox5XuynSOHdnkiERaewyL7GUT5i-Sm_82WQtbgxHImJDKzQPeE13hmWp62iYF36eVmxYN_Rwpt8dJxAFJvwD3fJoKqgTZ_oZJpO1G2jzRbezvaU/s200/image5.JPG" width="68" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
I picked up the 30ml travel size version of this product because it was under £10 and I wanted to try it before I splurged on a full-size, and I'm glad I did because I really don't like this product. It claims to control oil, but I found that it had no effect at all, and I had to touch up with powder later on in the day. I also found that it didn't prolong the wear of my makeup and it didn't last throughout the day. I'm glad that I only bought the travel sized product because I didn't waste as much money compared to if I bought the full size. Since buying this I have bought two full size all-nighter setting sprays and the vitamin B6 spray from Urban Decay, and I love both of these products as they work really well with my skin. I find Urban Decay products to be very hit or miss, so I would recommend buying the travel-size options when possible to test a product out before splurging on the full-size, and potentially wasting a lot of money.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>6 - Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Original, £16</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIYCJBlPVCwkYT-PKsHBDXwwsJELetoZ4h-mNNX0pQ4lNq3GKIuVdKYsiU329bewBz3y-xDqAv8p1TAB8G3qQMr2wAi35ZH_0-_wBEdGMvUYLi-c9vM5Bf9MRaYvZZI0xfxKgaaoGYZRQ/s1600/image6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIYCJBlPVCwkYT-PKsHBDXwwsJELetoZ4h-mNNX0pQ4lNq3GKIuVdKYsiU329bewBz3y-xDqAv8p1TAB8G3qQMr2wAi35ZH_0-_wBEdGMvUYLi-c9vM5Bf9MRaYvZZI0xfxKgaaoGYZRQ/s200/image6.JPG" width="94" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
This is another Urban Decay product that I decided to pick up a travel-sized version of, and again this was a good choice. There are four different primer potions available in the UK, two of which also come in the travel-size, so I decided to pick up the original. I find that this eyeshadow primer makes my eyelids quite oily, and my eyeshadow seems to crease and rub off when I use this. Many people say that they dislike the original primer potion as they find that it doesn't work as well as they hoped, but have nothing but positive reviews about the tinted primers, so I hope to try one of those soon and see if they are better than the original.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>7 - Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Touch Up, £22</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvfZh-y0v3-4mqOsNFhfI04w_ocz1ZLbV-gswAUGA3Brbqxj3z42urYy-I-BqMD8UsHfxiiCRAlLBTLWIh9hSDsnPYHG_SMFpre7xeO2kUqBXHwkt9y7wZL0GV3ddSC9DgNfhlyWtRLm0/s1600/image7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="158" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvfZh-y0v3-4mqOsNFhfI04w_ocz1ZLbV-gswAUGA3Brbqxj3z42urYy-I-BqMD8UsHfxiiCRAlLBTLWIh9hSDsnPYHG_SMFpre7xeO2kUqBXHwkt9y7wZL0GV3ddSC9DgNfhlyWtRLm0/s200/image7.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
I bought this product on sale for around £10 and it is one of my biggest makeup regrets, as I haven't used this powder for a while. When I first bought it I used it all the time, but after a while I realised that it made my under eye area look really dry and cakey, even when I used my regular concealer. I also found that using it to set my whole face made it look quite orange, although the powder is in the shade translucent. However, I found that it did set my makeup quite nicely, so I might have to try using it again.<br />
<br />
That's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it.<br />

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is the second of my Halloween makeup looks, and this week I have chosen to do a Harley Quinn makeup look, as<i> </i>I feel that Harley Quinn will be a very popular costume this year.<br />

I then mixed some white face paint in with the lightest foundation that I own, to make a pale base for the look. I then set this with a translucent powder, before moving onto the eyes.<br />
I chose to start with the red eye, which was the right side of my face. I realised that I didn't have any red eyeshadow, so I applied a red lipstick as an eyeshadow base, then I used a red liquid lipstick in the crease to try and add some definition. After this, I used a black gel eyeliner to create a wing.<br />
Moving onto the blue eye, I used a dark blue eyeshadow in the crease to define my eye, and then added a paler blue over my eyelid, before blending the two together to ensure there was no harsh lines. I then applied the same black gel eyeliner and created another wing (let's overlook the fact they were completely uneven, it is a Halloween look after all).<br />
After this, I filled in my eyebrows and moved onto the eyeshadow under my eye. For the red side, I used a pink eyeshadow, and applied it in downward strokes with a thin eyeshadow brush, and blending out the edges. I then did the same with the blue, but this side looked a lot harsher where the eyeshadow was darker.<br />
To finish the look, I took a red lipstick and applied it to my lips, and smudged out the right side of my lip. Then I took a black kohl eyeliner, and drew the heart underneath the red eye, and wrote the word 'rotten' on the same side of my face, under the cheekbone. This turned out much bigger than it was meant to, but that doesn't matter.<br />
<br />
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. I plan to upload a new makeup look every week until Halloween.<br />

I hope you're having a wonderful day. As it's now October, I thought it was time to start the Halloween makeup looks, that I plan to do throughout the month. Today I chose to do a pop art one, which is the easiest of all the looks.<br />

<div align="left">
This is the finished pop art look. I chose to only do half of my face so that it shows the difference of before and after the makeup.</div>
<div align="left">
I started by priming my face, so that the makeup stays on all night. I then applied a thin layer of foundation to even out my skin tone, and a little bit of concealer under my eyes. After this I went straight into the pop art look.</div>
<div align="left">
I started with the eyes, and I took a gel eyeliner to make an extended, thick wing, and then take it through the crease of my eye as well. I then applied a coat of mascara, and then some fake eyelashes, followed by another coat of mascara to help blend my real eyelashes with the fake ones.</div>
<div align="left">
I then filled in my eyebrows with a black kohl eyeliner, making sure they looked very curved, and extending them down towards my eye. I made sure they were thicker at the front than at the tail.</div>
<div align="left">
I then moved onto the tears under the eye. I started by drawing out the shape in black eyeliner, and then filled it in with a bright blue eyeshadow.</div>
<div align="left">
I then finished off the black lines on the face, drawing them on my cheekbones, jawline, nose and chin to 'contour' my face.</div>
<div align="left">
After this, I moved onto the white dots. For this, I took a white face paint and an eyeshadow brush, and I dipped the end of the brush in the face paint and made dots all over my face.</div>
<div align="left">
To finish off the look, I lined my lips with the black kohl liner, and then applied a bright red lipstick over my lips. Finally, I added a little bit of white face paint to my lips, to make them look more of a pop art style.</div>
<div align="left">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoy it. I plan to do a lot of Halloween makeup looks throughout the month, and I plan to pick different ones, and make them more complicated as we go through the month.</div>

<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Every second feels like a minute, and I feel
the constant need to keep checking the time, to see how long until this is
over. It's not that I don't want to be here, I don't want to be surrounded by
so many people in such a small space. It makes me feel like I can't breathe,
and I'm constantly afraid that everyone's looking at me. I start to feel sick,
and there's nothing that can help. The feeling grows and grows until I struggle
to breathe, feeling as if all oxygen has been taken away from me. You don't understand
what's happening, and I can't explain it. You try to help, but you don't know
how, and that's not your fault, you've never felt like this before. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It's not just large groups that cause me to
be like this. It's worse only being with one person, as I worry about how I
seem to them, and what they think of me. I start to think a lot more, as I know
them personally, and worry a lot more about what they think compared to someone
I don't really know. You're talking and I start to fiddle with something, anything,
just to calm my mind. I start pulling at my hair band, picking at my nail
varnish, biting the inside of my cheek. You think I'm not listening and begin
to get angry, but I'm too scared to tell you the real reason why I've stopped
paying attention. I think you'll judge me, and I'm afraid. I think you'll pity
me, and I'm afraid. I think you'll patronise me, and I'm afraid.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It's the little things that worry me the
most. The things you might find silly. I'm worried that I forgot to switch off
the light, or forgot to bring something with me. I have to keep checking that I
have everything, I’m always afraid that I’ve lost something. I worry that
someone is walking behind me, perhaps following me, perhaps not. But still, I
keep checking behind me to ensure no one is there. If I see someone, my natural
instinct is to speed up, but that makes me look like a bad person, which only
worries me more. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I get scared to talk. Not even in front of
large crowds, sometimes I’m scared to talk in front of one person. Even the
people I’m closest to. I worry about what you’ll think of me, so I try not to
talk. Then the awkward silence overpowers me, and I wish I had the confidence
to speak. As soon as we disagree on something, I worry that you’ll hate me for
criticising something you like. I wish that I wasn’t like this, I wish I could
have a normal conversation without worrying all the time. I wish I could just
tell you how I feel, without being afraid to do so.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I try my hardest to hide how I feel, so that
you won't keep constantly asking if I'm okay. Opening up and talking is the
hardest thing, and you don't realise this. You feel like I'm shutting you out,
but it's only because I'm afraid. You feel like I don't care anymore, but the
truth is I care too much. I try to be happy around you, but it only makes me
worse when I'm alone. I want to make you happy, but I haven’t even figured out
how to make myself happy. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">You don’t realise just how much this affects
me. It can stop me doing simple, everyday tasks. I even feel afraid when I’m at
home alone, even though that’s the one place that I should feel safe. Whenever
I hear a voice I’m terrified that they’re talking to me. Whenever I hear
laughing I’m worried that they’re laughing at me. </span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It’s easy to hide who I am online. It’s easy
to seem positive and ensure no one knows the truth. But it’s time this changed.
It is estimated that 1 in 4 people in England will suffer from a mental health
problem during their life. It is time to stop hiding this and start speaking
out about it, making people more aware of just how much it affects us. It’s
time people realised how common mental health problems are, and how they destroy us from the inside out.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This thing is controlling my life. This thing
is destroying me. This thing is anxiety. And it affects millions of people.</span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0cm;">
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So that’s it for today’s post, I hope you
enjoyed it.</span></div>

<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you’re having a
wonderful day. Today’s post is much more serious than normal; however, I feel
as if this topic needs to be addressed.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">There are faults in everything and everyone. Most people
find it easy to find faults in themselves, and some find it easy to find faults
in others. It’s very easy for us to believe that someone (including ourselves) is nowhere near perfect. While this is true, this isn’t a bad thing. Who
defines what perfect is? Who decided that we should all try to be ‘perfect’? We
need to realise that it’s better to be ourselves than to be society’s idea of
perfect. The idea of being perfect limits who we can be and what we can do, and
we feel afraid to be individuals in case we don’t fit in.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";"> However, as some of
my friends (especially Emilyrose and Abigail) and I recently realised, the
majority of faults we encounter lie in our school. As teenage girls, we are
very lucky to be receiving a free, decent-quality education. But there are many
faults with schools, particularly with our school.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">First of all, our school has so many rules. Although rules
are there for a reason and are supposed to be obeyed, they try so hard to
reinforce all of these rules, which makes us feel the need to rebel against
these rules in the first place. These rules also limit us in who we are, in the
way that we can’t wear makeup to school and feel more confident in ourselves.
While there should be limits and restrictions to what we can do, they should
let us express our personalities too, and trust that we would no longer feel
the need to rebel, as there aren’t as many rules.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">They are always telling us how we need to be aiming for all
A*’s in our GCSE exams. However, not everyone is capable of getting those top
grades, and instead of pushing us for those top grades they should encourage us
to just do our best. This will make us feel happier in ourselves, and make us
feel much happier about our results, instead of making people feel bad that
they didn’t get those A* grades that they had been pushed to get for five
years.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">My school also idolises those who do get those top grades in
their GCSEs. Although we should be proud that they did so well, they shouldn’t
be idolised, because those girls who put in as much effort but didn’t get
grades quite as high should also be mentioned to those younger years. They say
how those A* students are the ‘perfect students’ and how we should ‘try to be
like them’, but then that makes us feel like we have to be like someone else
instead of being ourselves. They are trying to force this image of ‘perfect’
into us, even more than society does, and they think that they can decide what
counts as perfect. We have also realised that they don’t idolise those who got
C grades, but were predicted low grades such as an E. These students worked so
hard just to pass a particular subject, however this work seems to go unnoticed
by the majority of the staff, and it is overlooked because they didn’t get
grades as high as other students. They need to realise that we put so much work
into these exams, and it may not always be reflected by the grades that we get
out of it. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">Furthermore, they don’t realise that working for these top
grades is also the cause of mental illnesses and stress disorders. The more
exams we have; the more revision we have to do for these exams. However, all of
this revision is the main cause of stress for us teenagers, and on top of this
they keep pushing us for these top grades. Instead of pushing us for these
grades, they should accept that we put so much work into these exams, and be
happy with the grades we get out of them.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">On top of this, they use these top grades to publicly
advertise the school and appeal to more people. They are constantly referring
to how many students got an A-A* grade in their exams, when the main focus
should be those girls who made a great deal of progress throughout the last two
years at school, and those who either achieved or exceeded their expected exam
grade. This would lessen the pressure on us, and make us realise that we don’t
need to get those top exam grades to exceed in life and be offered a range of
opportunities. They only want us to get these top grades to make them look
better as a school, when most of the students (and some of the staff) feel that
it’s not even a school anymore, due to all of this and the rules.<br />
In addition, most of the teachers don’t really care about our health and wellbeing.
They care more about our grades and making it look like they have taught us
well, even though many of their students over time will suffer from a stress or
anxiety disorder, due to the pressure they put on us. Instead of trying to combat
this, they give us more revision and homework, to try and improve our grades
for their class. I think it’s time they realised that our health is more
important than grades. They also make us feel as if we should be spending every
spare minute revising for these exams. We shouldn’t be stopped from interacting
with our friends because we should be doing revision instead. While these
grades will decide part of our lives, having good social skills is also really
valuable in life and will be needed, no matter what job you have. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;">
<span style="font-family: "calibri";">This all results to us finding more faults in ourselves. We
find fault that we aren’t getting those top grades constantly, and that’s okay,
as we need to learn to accept what we get, as everything happens for a reason.
Maybe we weren’t supposed to achieve that A* in that one subject, and that’s
fine. They also make us feel much more insecure, due to the fact we can’t wear
makeup to school. This then makes us want to wear more makeup, as most of us
aren’t happy with the way we look naturally. Again, this is something we need
to learn to accept sooner or later, or we will never be happy with ourselves.
Finally, we are worrying about being ‘perfect’ in more than one way. We worry
about looking ‘perfect’ when we go out and worry about being accepted by modern
society, and we also worry about being that ‘perfect’ student that everyone
aspires to be like. This stops us from being ourselves, as we are constantly
trying to be like others, both in school and out of school. So, my friends and
I believe that we should stop finding faults in ourselves, as there are many
more faults in schools, that all help to shape who we are.</span></div>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is a natural spring makeup look, which is very lightweight and comfortable on the skin. I used as few products as possible, and they created the perfect makeup look for spring.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm0N32dnV6K5Nnz-FR7RXtuyrfbXTjAxiuuTqZw7FcNyf34ss86W_OH8m7IpzcoEegNqXSbAn3NcO-X5gxMulkiUe7NNm3mzggIyGMQ4VOlswcQHYz9JrQBTAZOL_l2CW7W2e1RPFq3IM/s1600/IMG_2144.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm0N32dnV6K5Nnz-FR7RXtuyrfbXTjAxiuuTqZw7FcNyf34ss86W_OH8m7IpzcoEegNqXSbAn3NcO-X5gxMulkiUe7NNm3mzggIyGMQ4VOlswcQHYz9JrQBTAZOL_l2CW7W2e1RPFq3IM/s200/IMG_2144.JPG" width="200" /></span></a></div>
<span style="color: black; font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">These are the products that I used to create the look. I started off with a primer, as always. The one I chose was from Rimmel, and it is the stay matte primer. This helps to create a smooth base for makeup, so it stays on for longer. This also keeps the face matte for up to eight hours, which reduces the need to powder throughout the day. This was kindly given to me by my friend Kasey, and I think that it is a good primer. </span><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">I then used the Collection lasting perfection all over my face, instead of a foundation. This is much more lightweight on the skin, and the concealer also gives very full coverage, so this reduced the need for a foundation. I chose to use a contouring palette for this look, as it contains a blusher, bronzer and highlighter, which are perfect for that sun-kissed look. This kit is from Makeup Revolution, and it is a bargain at £3.50. I lightly contoured with the bronzer, then applied the blush to the apples of my cheeks, and then used the highlighter to highlight my cheeks, nose and Cupid's bow.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">I chose to keep the eyes quite natural, so I applied a liquid eyeshadow (Rimmel scandal eyes). This eyeshadow leaves a shimmery rose gold shade on the eyelids, which is the perfect shade for spring. I then applied a few coats of the Makeup Revolution amazing curve mascara, as this really darkens my eyelashes and it holds a curl really well. I then went on to fill in my eyebrows, and lately I've been liking to fill them in naturally. For this, I use the Rimmel eyebrow pencil, then set them into place with the Collection clear mascara.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Finally, to complete the look, I applied the Benefit posiebalm. This is a light pink lip balm, which gives the most subtle hint of pink to the lips, which isn't too dramatic, meaning it is perfect to complete this natural makeup look.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Much love, Cara xxx</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is going to be quite long, as I am sharing five different skincare routines, one for each skin type. I have selected products that I think will work well with the different skin types to create quick and easy daily skincare routines.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Oily</u></b></div>
<div>
The first skin type I have chosen to talk about is oily. Oily skin can look quite shiny and feel greasy. If you have oily skin you may have larger pores, which makeup often sinks into. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5x2RbfTcK8sfjf3KqbtMc1jph0GqT3Mfavhat3nG6TED4kla6YFDuckYL-4Ec6igAIrRGmUbxSsGwnI9wI1-CtfPSwuOdLbaMib-2g4cRPVtSig9iCL6DrB58IkNxhpwHKrkAWDfsMpI/s1600/IMG_1648.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5x2RbfTcK8sfjf3KqbtMc1jph0GqT3Mfavhat3nG6TED4kla6YFDuckYL-4Ec6igAIrRGmUbxSsGwnI9wI1-CtfPSwuOdLbaMib-2g4cRPVtSig9iCL6DrB58IkNxhpwHKrkAWDfsMpI/s200/IMG_1648.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div>
These are the products I have selected for this skincare routine. To start, I have chosen the St Ives normal and combination face wipes, as these are the best face wipes I have found. For a cleanser, the Biore charcoal cleanser is the best for oily skin, because it helps unclog pores and remove excess oils. Toner is an important step if you have oily skin, and the I think the best toner for this is the Garnier purifying toner. This toner helps to reduce shine, helping your skin look more matte, and less greasy. It is also important to moisurise if you have oily skin, as failure to do so means that the skin creates more oils to try and keep the skin moisturised, however it is important to go for an oil free moisturiser such as this one from Clean and Clear. Finally, the last step is to help get reduce spots. Oily skin can be acne prone, so it is important to work on minimising any spots that appear, and the best thing for this is the Skin System tea tree serum, as it works overnight to minimise spots.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Sensitive</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Sensitive skin may not react well with certain products or brands, as they may cause the face to become red and irritated, and some may cause a rash to appear.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYi8NU1dsDZD-0XIqYZr5shMnvENodDASkKHihHDmRcryX9Baw6PhfVMQsMLu1qQ8LAzIcpVf2t54OE498QtmS2_xCh_405EhL8IXIt_9NHPUX_3DZ6iuMraDzVE18haz_YYtotj4odrE/s1600/IMG_1647.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYi8NU1dsDZD-0XIqYZr5shMnvENodDASkKHihHDmRcryX9Baw6PhfVMQsMLu1qQ8LAzIcpVf2t54OE498QtmS2_xCh_405EhL8IXIt_9NHPUX_3DZ6iuMraDzVE18haz_YYtotj4odrE/s200/IMG_1647.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
With sensitive skin, it is important to find products specifically for sensitive skin, or products without any alcohol or fragrance. Firstly, I have chosen the St Ives dry and sensitive face wipes for a quick cleanse. A good skincare product for sensitive skin is the Garnier micellar water for sensitive skin, as this gently cleanses and purifies without being harsh on the skin. An ideal brand for sensitive skin is Simple, as their products contain no fragrance or alcohol, and they are very soft on the skin, so the last three products in this routine are all from Simple. These products are the Simple refreshing face wash, soothing toner, and light moisturiser. These products all help cleanse and moisturise the skin, without irritating it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Dry</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Dry skin lacks moisture, and if you have dry skin you may have patches of dry, flaky skin, which makeup tends to cling to. The most important step in caring for dry skin is ensuring it is kept clean and is moisturised regularly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOaiKGTaRDAk-MKBbyfpPK61Xr4qJ2qq5kOKsbUbD0Eq_vwYKg2ZX5lYbdZCXxKTuc2FsZNhGdRr5t56RMiQSRcou84-sb9KXmECh9PfqviClDZODCr0EpjxSMMTeNFXJ6l3z9pse0uO8/s1600/IMG_1650.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOaiKGTaRDAk-MKBbyfpPK61Xr4qJ2qq5kOKsbUbD0Eq_vwYKg2ZX5lYbdZCXxKTuc2FsZNhGdRr5t56RMiQSRcou84-sb9KXmECh9PfqviClDZODCr0EpjxSMMTeNFXJ6l3z9pse0uO8/s200/IMG_1650.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
These are the products I have selected for this skincare routine. To start, I have chosen the St Ives dry and sensitive face wipes again. I have then chosen the Beauty Formulas vitamin e face scrub, as exfoliating will help to remove dry patches, and the vitamin e helps to keep the skin hydrated. I think that a thicker toner would help hydrate dry skin, so for this skincare routine I have chosen to use the L'Oréal toner. This toner is thicker in texture than the other ones that I have chosen, however it is my favourite by far, as it really helps to hydrate the skin but also remove impurities. Finally, I have selected a thick moisturiser to complete the skincare routine. It is better to use a thick moisturiser, as they are often more hydrating and will keep the skin softer for longer, and it is important to moisturise at least twice a day.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Normal</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
There are no major issues with normal skin, except for a few irregular spots. However, it is still important to care for normal skin, to help keep it as clear as possible.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiME44hcEgq_VjQkvAQi4jWhoAWY2zpaVm-TWULz2YkVIaJXjJhf76RIgMsv9zKYgTis7mvMu2z97yP889jUFhbqliDNtyNX_S5S8pPlHWH5zBAg_8Kiq9tF4mzrITJMZR5DF8NYVBi7PM/s1600/IMG_1652.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiME44hcEgq_VjQkvAQi4jWhoAWY2zpaVm-TWULz2YkVIaJXjJhf76RIgMsv9zKYgTis7mvMu2z97yP889jUFhbqliDNtyNX_S5S8pPlHWH5zBAg_8Kiq9tF4mzrITJMZR5DF8NYVBi7PM/s200/IMG_1652.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
These are the products I have chosen for this skincare routine. Firstly, I have chosen the Nivea facial cleansing wipes, which claim to be for all skin types, however they would work the best with normal skin. I have then chose the Neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub for a cleanser, as this is really refreshing. Toning isn't as important for normal skin, however I would still recommend it, and I would suggest using the Olay 2 in 1 cleanser and toner, as it also helps to cleanse the skin and remove any impurities. Finally, to moisturise I would recommend using the Nivea soft moisturiser, as this helps to keep skin nourished and hydrated all day.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><u>Combination</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The last skin type is combination. Combination skin is a mixture of different skin types, normally oily and dry. Overall, the skin would be balanced out because of the contradicting skin types.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVBdFpUqRgjOvcsBiEY5cwd7ho5F4TyHuuzMX6FjIBxSvAn-0fMrryr6cC4vcl3XvhiGwhWWKecItg0F_uXCnno95GHuQY2lQ-1ZYZoB5Wnvv1H3opyPSWxtKgoD105IPtbXR_yg4Tryk/s1600/IMG_1653.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVBdFpUqRgjOvcsBiEY5cwd7ho5F4TyHuuzMX6FjIBxSvAn-0fMrryr6cC4vcl3XvhiGwhWWKecItg0F_uXCnno95GHuQY2lQ-1ZYZoB5Wnvv1H3opyPSWxtKgoD105IPtbXR_yg4Tryk/s200/IMG_1653.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
To start, I have again selected the St Ives normal and combination face wipes. After this, I have chosen the Superdrug Naturally Radiant hot cloth cleanser. This gently exfoliates and brightens the skin, and it has cocoa butter as well, which helps to hydrate the skin. It is important to tone with combination skin, especially in any patches that appear oily. The toner I have selected is from Garnier, and it is the soothing vitamin enriched toner. The vitamins will help to keep the skin clear and hydrated throughout the day. To complete this skincare routine, I have chosen the Cuticura skin balance moisturiser, because this has mattifying properties, which is good for any oily patches, but it also has cucumber in, which is refreshing and hydrating for the dry patches.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it and found it quite helpful. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is similar to last week's, however this week I have chosen to talk about my holy fail drugstore products. These are products that haven't worked well for me. They may work well for you, but personally they disappointed me in some way, and I have chosen to share these products with you.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQJ2uTcIwquO8WCNHfBJ4RkRmM9kfWJ79iqvHImNhNZ5WFTu-pZQdSpEVK-I3Q6CTshYKmwb-DuiXseBErwtd2sc9xY8Hnhie3c-tV1lV_NSvaM6l9pYsoGVYLS-fzFdzsB1cYZ8OhUYg/s1600/image1+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQJ2uTcIwquO8WCNHfBJ4RkRmM9kfWJ79iqvHImNhNZ5WFTu-pZQdSpEVK-I3Q6CTshYKmwb-DuiXseBErwtd2sc9xY8Hnhie3c-tV1lV_NSvaM6l9pYsoGVYLS-fzFdzsB1cYZ8OhUYg/s200/image1+%25283%2529.JPG" width="200" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Starting with face products, I was disappointed by the NYC Smooth Skin primer. This primer made my face look very glittery, which made it look shiny, even after applying powder. I also found that it didn't prolong the staying time of the makeup, and it didn't really make much of a difference for foundation application.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Next, I was disappointed by two drugstore concealers. Firstly is the Makeup Revolution The One concealer (£3), which is a dupe for Benefit's Fake Up. This concealer is very low coverage, and after applying it there was no visible difference to the areas I had tried to conceal. I also didn't like the feel of the concealer, when I was applying it and blending it in.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The other holy fail concealer is from MUA, and it is the under eye concealer (£3). This concealer was disappointing because it has glitter in it, and the glitter makes it obvious that concealer has been applied, as no matter how many other products I put over it, the glitter was still visible.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I also didn't get on well with the Garnier BB cream. Despite getting the shade light, it was far too dark for my skin tone. I think the reason I was so disappointed was because it was £9.99, when I could have bought a different product that was better suited to my skin tone for that price.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The next two products are from Collection. I love the majority of their products, however these two were particularly disappointing. First there is the Cover And Go foundation and concealer duo (£5.99). This is such a handy product to have in your bag, as it has a foundation, concealer, and a little mirror in the lid. However, it doesn't provide a lot of coverage, and I would prefer just to wear the lasting perfection concealer from Collection, as it costs less. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The next face product is the Collection Bronze Glow mosaic bronzer (£2.99). This bronzer is also very glittery, and I prefer a matte bronzer. It is also a very light colour for a bronzer.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The final disappointing product is from Primark, and it is the loose face powder (£2.00). This product settles into pores and fine lines, and it makes my concealer crease even if I use it to bake. I would rather pay an extra £1 to buy the loose powder from Collection, as there is such a difference in the quality of the products.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5ZyXeq1Gf2qRfO0I2iJF5FpGzUJtVZ2JvKrPEFks3nAoNqIbvFVZ2wsjwtd4A4yuOTKXQdscStOiSop5xPj_x9R8trofWU7sgIL3MQpT12JTd2grvxzBePXX0kyI9lqUNJStu706dZrw/s1600/image2+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5ZyXeq1Gf2qRfO0I2iJF5FpGzUJtVZ2JvKrPEFks3nAoNqIbvFVZ2wsjwtd4A4yuOTKXQdscStOiSop5xPj_x9R8trofWU7sgIL3MQpT12JTd2grvxzBePXX0kyI9lqUNJStu706dZrw/s200/image2+%25282%2529.JPG" width="200" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Next, onto eye products. Firstly, there is the MUA eyebrow pencil, which was £1. This product is very waxy, and it can come out very clumpy in the eyebrows. It also comes in very few colours, meaning it is not an exact match for my eyebrow colour.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I also don't like the Rimmel Scandal Eyes liquid eyeshadow. I don't know why I chose to get a purple shade, but I found that when I blended it out the majority of the product was absorbed by the brush, or my finger, and it blended away. I do want to try another shade, to see if the same thing happens.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Now for mascara. I have two mascaras that were extremely disappointing. The first one is from Max Factor, and it is the false lash effect mascara (£10.99). I found that there is quite a lot of product on the mascara wand, and that makes my eyelashes look clumpy. It didn't separate my lashes as I hoped it would, and I would prefer to buy a different mascara for a lower price.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The other mascara is from Kiko, and it is the Luxurious Lashes mascara, which was £7.20. I really like the way this mascara applied, and I liked the overall effect. However I found that after wearing it for a few hours it made my eyelashes really dry, and it could be peeled off.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS4ALRdrU6N112KqJKIXLNraJ2nRJfvGaFkEXI4K-bj0olVtj12b5eKqXy5_9aV_Uz52zvVeUrPpxOfNTgUO62rESBlvdMbgpF6WnKwCjf6M32sLfsEfgDrifdKYeJTv1r9m8_MPxH9TQ/s1600/image3+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS4ALRdrU6N112KqJKIXLNraJ2nRJfvGaFkEXI4K-bj0olVtj12b5eKqXy5_9aV_Uz52zvVeUrPpxOfNTgUO62rESBlvdMbgpF6WnKwCjf6M32sLfsEfgDrifdKYeJTv1r9m8_MPxH9TQ/s200/image3+%25281%2529.JPG" width="200" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Finally, these are the lip products that didn't work for me. The first one is the EOS lip balm in the flavour Lemon Drop (£6.50). I wanted to love this product, as it was quite a lot of money for a lip balm. However, I found that it was quite waxy, and it wasn't very moisturising, and I know that there are better lip balms on the market which cost a lot less money.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The next lip product is from the Tanya Burr range, and it is in the shade Daydream. I love the formulation of Tanya's lipglosses, however I found that this colour didn't really suit me, as it was far too pale. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The final disappointing product is from Forever 21, and it is a lipgloss, which was £1.50. This lipgloss is pink, but it also has bits of coloured glitter in it. I also found that it was extremely sticky, and that made it hard to apply.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. There is no hate intended in this post, I am just sharing my opinion on a few products which didn't work as well as I hoped they would.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Much love, Cara xxx.</span>Cara Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415979377880890012noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743427432149267167.post-30501635581585269182016-03-19T16:07:00.000+00:002016-03-19T16:07:12.771+00:00Holy Grail Drugstore Items<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. In today's post, I share some of my favourite drugstore items with you. These are the products that I find work well for me, and this will not be the same for everybody.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgG3linSro_QcsJ_WGXTNKFDslmKnI4i1rGqdeavo4s4-dVsID35Q2j3BT0_hg2XvKESWumeiJ0QxYT33PRueDrNbsT5eZPPZ98vEXM0MJBF-T8qM6mpvG1d6GzZnfe05eZi5zjqdLlMxo/s1600/image3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgG3linSro_QcsJ_WGXTNKFDslmKnI4i1rGqdeavo4s4-dVsID35Q2j3BT0_hg2XvKESWumeiJ0QxYT33PRueDrNbsT5eZPPZ98vEXM0MJBF-T8qM6mpvG1d6GzZnfe05eZi5zjqdLlMxo/s200/image3.JPG" width="200" /> </span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Starting with face products, I have two holy grail primers. The first one is from Rimmel, and it is from the Lasting Finish range. This primer is £6.99, however there is normally an offer on Rimmel products, so it is easy to pick up on sale. I find that this primer helps my makeup last for longer, and a little bit goes a long way.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Next is the Collection Primed and Ready primer. I have the mattifying pore minimiser primer, and there are also illuminating ones, all costing £4.99 each. I chose this primer because I wanted to minimise my pores, to make a smooth base for my makeup, and I find that this primer helps control excess oils on my face, helping to keep my face matte, without the need for powder.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">My holy grail concealer is the Maybelline Fit Me, which is £5.99. This concealer has very good coverage considering the price, and it is also really creamy and easy to blend out. This concealer can be used for both blemishes, and under the eyes, making it my go-to concealer if I'm in a rush.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">For foundation, I have two holy grail products. Firstly is the L'Oréal Infallible matte foundation, which is the cheaper of the two, at £7.99. This is one of my all time favourite foundations, as it has high coverage and excellent staying power. It also comes in shades pale enough for my skin, whereas other foundations are often too dark.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The other foundation is from Bourjois, and it is the 123 perfect colour correcting foundation. This foundation is one of the more expensive drugstore foundations, costing £10.99, however it has three colour correcting pigments, and provides more coverage than a BB cream. I picked this foundation to help conceal the redness on my face, and I find that it really helps with that.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">My favourite drugstore contouring palette is from Makeup Revolution, and it was only £3.50. This is a complete dupe for the Sleek Face Form contour palette, which is £9.99, and it is also very similar to my Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette, which is £23.50. This palette contains a blusher, bronzer and highlighter, and each one is extremely pigmented, and it is one of my preferred face items.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">For bronzer, I chose the NYC Smooth Skin bronzer as my holy grail item. This is because it is a matte warm toned bronzer, however it is not too orange. It also blends out really easily, and I really like the fact that it isn't shimmery.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I rarely wear blusher, however if I do, I find that I reach for the Miss Sporty insta glow blusher. This is a gorgeous shimmery pink colour, and it adds just the right pink flush to the apples of my cheeks. This is also a bargain, costing only £2.99.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Highlighting is one of my favourite parts of doing my makeup, and my holy grail highlighter is the Makeup Revolution highlighting palette. Each shade is well-loved, and it has eight different shades, ranging from a natural pink highlighter, to a bright white for a perfect glow. My personal favourite is the champagne colour, as I find it works the best with my skin tone.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij6MkivCAQhs1zmvyxKMnKZUcq4sIbCvjW8wVOSuMSSg88V0gqrNnCWQqfnnxjEEVXnTELBQM-RXViOJOk1s_pDcbOkLtZUtwGQRgOtoWX4vSTnNtuwOQV2_sIV2tl85TkK1ZKIZOVhzs/s1600/image2+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij6MkivCAQhs1zmvyxKMnKZUcq4sIbCvjW8wVOSuMSSg88V0gqrNnCWQqfnnxjEEVXnTELBQM-RXViOJOk1s_pDcbOkLtZUtwGQRgOtoWX4vSTnNtuwOQV2_sIV2tl85TkK1ZKIZOVhzs/s200/image2+%25281%2529.JPG" width="200" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Moving onto eyes, my favourite eyeshadow palette is the w7 In The Buff. This is a dupe for the Naked 2, and it consists of the perfect gold and copper toned eyeshadows. This is my winter go-to palette, and all of the shades blend together well to help create the perfect eye look.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">My favourite eyeliner is the Maybelline Big Eyes. This is quite expensive for eyeliner, at £4.99, however each end is extremely pigmented. I also think that it is a really good idea to have a black end and a white end, instead of having to use two separate eyeliners.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I have a variety of different holy grail mascaras. The cheapest being the Natural Collection waterguard mascara. All Natural Collection products are £1.99, however I find that the majority of them are quite good. The mascara is essentially natural looking, however it can be layered to form a dramatic look.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Next is the Collection Lengthening Mascara, costing £3.99. This mascara is amazing, and I find that it really separates the eyelashes, and lengthens each one. I picked up the waterproof version, as this formula is better for hot weather, and I plan to wear this throughout the summer months.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The final mascara is from L'Oréal, and it is the Lash Telescopic mascara. This is definitely more pricey than the other drugstore mascaras, as it is £10.99. I find that one coat of this mascara is the perfect amount to create the perfect full lash look. However, if this mascara is layered too many times it becomes quite clumpy and spidery.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">My holy grail eyebrow product is the Primark eyebrow powder. I didn't have very high hopes for this, as it was only £1.50. This is my all time favourite drugstore eyebrow product. It really helps fill in any sparse areas and create the desired eyebrow shape. This product has lasted such a long time, considering I use it every day, and I would recommend this over any eyebrow product from Superdrug.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Finally, these are my holy grail lip items. First, I have two lip liners from Rimmel. They are both £3.99, and they are in the shades 005 Pure (pink) and 032 Innocent (nude). The pink shade is a lovely matte pink, which is perfect worn alone. The nude shade is the most neutral shade I have found, which makes it perfect to line your lips for any lipstick.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">My holy grail lipstick of from Kiko, and it is the Smart lipstick in the shade 917, which is £3.90. This lipstick applies really easily, and I also find that it is moisturising, which is quite uncommon in cheaper lipsticks. This is a pinky-nude shade, and it is my everyday lipstick for when I wear makeup.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Finally, my last drugstore holy grail makeup item is the Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain in the shade 045 New York Scene. This costs £8.99, and it is a darker berry tone, meaning it is better for winter. This is glossy and moisturising, however it is not sticky, like most lipglosses. The applicator is quite odd, however the shape of the applicator makes it so much easier to apply the product.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">So that's it for today's post. I hope you enjoyed it. I plan to do a similar post next week.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Much love, Cara xxx.</span>Cara Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415979377880890012noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743427432149267167.post-67075899739760991122016-02-27T17:00:00.000+00:002016-02-27T17:00:00.684+00:00February Fashion Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. In today's post, I am sharing a few of my favourite outfits from February, that are perfect for winter. This winter, I have been obsessed with wearing hoodies and cardigans, as they are so warm and cosy.<br />
<br />
<img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht6Md7cB8bHPOeyaA3am8p1ZNGN3aL9IHJsIXQy1GI-AaUUMAFEd2v6miBHoxcw4jmHIGyY1B9buazDvaekDegARbv1cXVoXetek2XZhaaHpQWCxjkw1lducGhwHkFUQxXjacOCxI9_z0/s200/image1+%25281%2529.JPG" width="150" /> This is the first outfit. I am wearing a pair of plain black skinny jeans, from Primark. These are basic jeans that work with any outfit. I paired these jeans with a plain white top from Hollister, and a burgundy waterfall cardigan from New Look. I really like the colour and style of this cardigan, and I find that I don't need to wear a coat with this, as it is a thick cardigan. I picked this up in the January sale, and it has been my favourite clothing item since then. To complete the look, I chose to wear my black heeled boots from Select, which featured in my last outfit post as well.<br />
<br />
<img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqydGhNmfh85SqYXNW1JuQVkYxUGmn2ITu1G22v_ZQt8aQBugoGR4aGQLNoAZqtSUFBiNTJMvv891PVQ6Z-eumloEuazAYQMVPMeGBaaYeL2aaz1mu-iAGyUyC7QbrBfjkN0CBnc_lbzM/s200/image2.JPG" width="150" />This is the second outfit, and this is a cute but cosy winter outfit. In this picture, I am wearing a pair of black leggings, again from Primark. I find that leggings are more comfortable than jeans, so I wear them more often. I also wore a basic black long sleeved top, also from Primark. The cardigan I am wearing is also from Primark, and it is a beige colour. This cardigan is quite thin, however I still prefer not to wear a coat with it. For shoes, I decided to wear my tan ankle boots from Forever 21. These boots are perfect for winter, and I really like the fact they have shoelaces. To complete the look, I wore white knee high socks, but pulled them down to just above the top of my boots, so that they are visible, but not pulled right up.<br />
<br />
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. See you next week with a new post.<br />
Much love, Cara xxx<br />

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. It's been such a long time since I last uploaded, however this post is quite special, as I am sharing some of my photos from my trip to New York. I was lucky enough to be able to go with my school, as a group of 27 students.<br />
<br />
We flew out from London on Tuesday 9th February. The flight took approximately eight hours, and we landed in New Jersey in the late afternoon. After that, it was a short drive to the hostel, where we stayed for most of the night. We unpacked our things, and then went to Times Square for dinner, and then returned back to the hostel.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Wednesday 10th February</u></b><br />
This was my favourite day by far, mainly because it was my birthday. It was the most amazing day, and I'm so glad that I got to spend it in New York. It stated off by snowing whilst we were walking to go and get breakfast. After breakfast, we went to visit Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and had the opportunity to take photos.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhypZV-dbrTC4qjDbOu7wh-OKSJAHmYJZC7xhD2h9be_tleBFViIZWRPX0YCyhjb2-Wgus3TsHamf0PblxZuEJYBwoWmswo_fS-NTKlzSHp8BWKLR_VQCcxFbQ_DKZn-P9n2hCUHKmJROw/s1600/DSC00496.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhypZV-dbrTC4qjDbOu7wh-OKSJAHmYJZC7xhD2h9be_tleBFViIZWRPX0YCyhjb2-Wgus3TsHamf0PblxZuEJYBwoWmswo_fS-NTKlzSHp8BWKLR_VQCcxFbQ_DKZn-P9n2hCUHKmJROw/s200/DSC00496.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
After this, we then went to Wall Street for a workshop at the Museum of American Finance. We had a talk about banking, and then had a tour of the museum. After this, we went to go and get lunch. <br />
After lunch, we went on a boat cruise around Liberty Island. Seeing the Statue of Liberty was incredible, and it's something I never thought I would experience, especially on my birthday.<br />
<br />

<br />
Next, we went to go and visit the 9/11 memorial. It was an amazing experience, and the memorial looked fantastic. After this, we got to go shopping in Times Square, and I went a bit crazy in Sephora. <br />

While we were waiting, someone dressed as Elvis came up to us and started speaking to us, and most of us were terrified. We then went for dinner at Planet Hollywood, and at the end of the meal the four of us sat on my table were presented with a large pudding, and everyone wished me a happy birthday. </div>

<br />
To finish the night, we went up the Empire State Building. It was absolutely brilliant to be able to overlook the whole of New York at night. All of the lights made it so pretty, and it was a great way to end the night.<br />

<b><u>Thursday 11th February</u></b><br />
On Thursday we went to visit the MoMath museum. The museum was a lot better than I originally expected, as it was an interactive museum, which made it really fun. We had the chance to explore the whole museum, and try every activity they offered. When we had finished in the museum we went to go and get lunch, before going on a tour of Midtown and Downtown Manhattan.<br />

<br />
After the tour, we went on a horse and carriage ride around Central Park. It was amazing to see the whole of Central Park, and it was even better to be able to see it through a horse and carriage ride.<br />
<br />
We then went for dinner at the Hard Rock Café, before going to see a production of Matilda. Both of these were really good, however Matilda was quite late so most of us were really tired. We then went back to the hostel.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Friday 12th February</u></b><br />
This was our final day in New York, and we spent the whole day shopping. We went to Macy's, where again, I bought a lot of makeup. We then got lunch and went back to the hostel, before leaving for the airport.<br />
<br />
We flew back in the evening, and arrived back in London at about 7:15AM GMT. It was then about an hour before we arrived back at school, ready to go home.<br />
<br />
<br />
So that's it for today's blog post, I hope you enjoyed it. I know it was quite long, but it has been a long time since I posted so this post makes up for that. I plan to get back into posting every Saturday starting next week. Much love, Cara xxx.<br />

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is a natural school makeup look, and it's a quick everyday makeup look with minimal products, perfect for a day at school.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdrfzdjIUD-h5ktGm35d5EYvHr2ECmHNyZ67Xx7mlhwUyiFfxUc3jL2A1b9uhd9kJ1s8oMDShkDqpy-VAB-5DNIoA3ols0SwuvFiCEsBe4biAtiEXMexFz3RV25Nq-WcOGOTkewtdLD24/s640/blogger-image-1831098455.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdrfzdjIUD-h5ktGm35d5EYvHr2ECmHNyZ67Xx7mlhwUyiFfxUc3jL2A1b9uhd9kJ1s8oMDShkDqpy-VAB-5DNIoA3ols0SwuvFiCEsBe4biAtiEXMexFz3RV25Nq-WcOGOTkewtdLD24/s640/blogger-image-1831098455.jpg" /></a>To start off, I primed my face with the Rimmel lasting finish primer. This is a recent purchase, and I really like it. This helps ensure the makeup will last all day, and create a smooth base for the makeup. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
As this is an everyday look, I wanted to only use concealer, as foundation can look very heavy on the skin and very unnatural. I used the Maybelline fit me concealer, and I concealed under my eyes and any blemishes. I then set this with the Collection pressed powder. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I chose to lightly fill in my eyebrows with the Rimmel eyebrow pencil, as I wanted them to look natural. I filled in my whole eyebrow, just to make them look a bit thicker. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I then applied a few coats of the Natural Collection water guard mascara. For school, I think waterproof mascara is better, as it won't rub off during the day. This is a very natural mascara, however when layered it can be quite dramatic. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Finally, to complete the look I applied the Nivea lip butter in raspberry rose, just to add a pale pink tint to them and keep them moisturised throughout the day. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. </div>

I hope you all had an excellent Christmas and New Year, and are excited to see what the new year may bring. Today's post is a rose gold makeup tutorial.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDarFZVDRnG4H0FwgtoEW7rL_6cSbU8wG53voO7t6bJ-56mzzFEhDj61M6VpQWVc43XRhEGkwbBTsRoc3ESMpACTUxGMx7uC9ixnHMFT6zSDa6ZqeqB2K0-XO4dqulouojm53KkzXZSf8/s640/blogger-image--93500066.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDarFZVDRnG4H0FwgtoEW7rL_6cSbU8wG53voO7t6bJ-56mzzFEhDj61M6VpQWVc43XRhEGkwbBTsRoc3ESMpACTUxGMx7uC9ixnHMFT6zSDa6ZqeqB2K0-XO4dqulouojm53KkzXZSf8/s640/blogger-image--93500066.jpg" /></a></div>
These are the products I used to create this look. As usual, I started off with a primer (from MUA) to ensure my makeup will last. I then used a high coverage foundation, rather than a medium coverage. I used the L'Oreal infallible foundation, as this is one of my favourites. I then used a highlighting concealer under my eyes to brighten the area. After this, I set everything in place with a pressed powder, from MUA. </div>
<div>
I then lightly contoured, as a gentle contour is better for winter to give your skin a healthy glow. To finish the face makeup, I used a highlighter from the Makeup Revolution highlighter palette. All of these highlighters are extremely pigmented, and they are perfect to help your skin glow. </div>
<div>
For the eye makeup, I chose to use the w7 In the Nude palette, as this is a dupe for the Naked 3. This palette is full of pink and rose gold shades, so I applied a few of these to create a rose gold eye look. I started off by applying a pink shade all over my eyelid, and then a rose gold shade in the outer half of my eye. I worked a gold shade through my crease, to add some definition to my eye and to make it stand out a bit more compared to the pinky shades. In the outer corner of my eye I applied a light brown shade, and blended everything together. I then applied a few coats of the maybelline great lash mascara, before filling in my eyebrows with the Primark eyebrow powder. </div>
<div>
To complete the look, I applied the Ted Baker lip & cheek tint to my lips, as this is a glittery pink shade which went perfectly with the eye look. </div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGyGqYUgpK344WW1US_j227sfFQfHW62WVAlg9w-xEvwnGTWh96JjWjyGIPAyIKTN9J_Np3Rwud2R9UnHhTbtol412h6Gbz65r3Kcoiv4DeahJcB3Q9CyJwWZrKASrkXJdn68hTORQzMs/s640/blogger-image--1671882312.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGyGqYUgpK344WW1US_j227sfFQfHW62WVAlg9w-xEvwnGTWh96JjWjyGIPAyIKTN9J_Np3Rwud2R9UnHhTbtol412h6Gbz65r3Kcoiv4DeahJcB3Q9CyJwWZrKASrkXJdn68hTORQzMs/s640/blogger-image--1671882312.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This is the finished makeup look. I think that rose gold is such a nice colour and can be worn at any time in the year. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. </div>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is a quick and easy Christmas Day makeup look, using all drugstore products to achieve a natural look.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrFd6EpZxhha5msQMZ7M9sLyLctmVwzRfPY0oaP2R80rO23kW_-lPv9oF5xoPosi3U9zzH193cDYC8W24j6IeaXmkxMeXGsjYgdzjyGZVrX4zTpSIGKQQEXVRIiLSjapvIT7-nnGqLrKA/s640/blogger-image--2142951944.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrFd6EpZxhha5msQMZ7M9sLyLctmVwzRfPY0oaP2R80rO23kW_-lPv9oF5xoPosi3U9zzH193cDYC8W24j6IeaXmkxMeXGsjYgdzjyGZVrX4zTpSIGKQQEXVRIiLSjapvIT7-nnGqLrKA/s640/blogger-image--2142951944.jpg" /></a>These are all of the products that I used. I started off with a primer from MUA to smooth out the appearance of pores. This will also help ensure the makeup lasts all day. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I then chose to use concealer, as it is more natural than a foundation. I chose the Collection lasting perfection as it is very long-lasting and provides really good coverage, without being too heavy. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I then set this makeup in place with the Collection loose powder, as I find that a loose powder is more longlasting than a pressed powder. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
After this, I lightly filled in my eyebrows with the eyebrow pencil from Collection. This was to make them appear thicker and fuller. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I then applied a few coats of the Rimmel wake me up mascara. This is one of my favourite drugstore mascaras, and when layered up it gives quite a dramatic effect. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
To complete the look I used Vaseline in the shade paint the town, as this is a sheer red colour so it gives a slight tint to the lips, but is also very moisturising. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. </div>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is a winter makeup look, but this time I have decided to try to create a full face of makeup, with only 5 makeup products.<br />
<div>
<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhzmQLFIzzaKx4y1TNw1uDt-ruV8vTS4djxIc0u40Mi-uHc0XAizymg6g9BsW0xgdwA6DcVVqBx_-q4zqOkJ_6Ca3L24-qDX8E_-EL4qndoO0IMF_fjEaSG5js30jltdKPFEf4gw6M2pc/s640/blogger-image-963015091.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhzmQLFIzzaKx4y1TNw1uDt-ruV8vTS4djxIc0u40Mi-uHc0XAizymg6g9BsW0xgdwA6DcVVqBx_-q4zqOkJ_6Ca3L24-qDX8E_-EL4qndoO0IMF_fjEaSG5js30jltdKPFEf4gw6M2pc/s640/blogger-image-963015091.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
These were the makeup items that I decided to use. I began with the Kiko skin evolution concealer, as I wanted a lighter base, compared to a foundation. I used this to cover up any redness or blemishes. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Next I lightly contoured with the Body Shop honey bronzer, just to give my face a bit of definition. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I then filled in my eyebrows with the Rimmel eyebrow pencil, just to make them appear fuller and to fill in any sparse areas. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
After this, I applied mascara. My current favourite is the bad gal lash, from Benefit. This mascara makes your eyelashes look extremely long and it also gives lots of volume. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
To finish the look, I applied the benebalm from Benefit, just to add a slight tint to my lips, and to moisturise them. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. Much love, Cara xxx. </div>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. In today's post, I share my three favourite winter lip looks.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVQltZgzrKIy_koO1IIBdOOZM925CslN89I2FFwlExiwC5Jw75BV8-ni1GO8qz5td3MKX82zaxURWvJnjJIQdkAFJsdUJwx0_r1jRy5Y_7nzFzcaTwWIVx5H-ehWJyxW9u-YXF8JeoKew/s640/blogger-image-1512200121.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVQltZgzrKIy_koO1IIBdOOZM925CslN89I2FFwlExiwC5Jw75BV8-ni1GO8qz5td3MKX82zaxURWvJnjJIQdkAFJsdUJwx0_r1jRy5Y_7nzFzcaTwWIVx5H-ehWJyxW9u-YXF8JeoKew/s640/blogger-image-1512200121.jpg" /></a></div>
The top colour is from Rimmel, and it is from their Apocalips range. These are like liquid lipsticks, and they are around £6 each. They come in a variety of colours, and I like this one for winter as it is a deep pink, which is a bit more subtle than a deep red. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The next lip look is a berry shade. To get this, I combined the Collection Lip Butter (in the shade 4) and the Kiko Smart Lipstick in the shade 914. They are both berry shades, so when put together they make a deep berry shade which is perfect when paired with a golden eye. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The final lip look is a classic red lip. For this, I used the Clinique Pop lip colour + primer (in the shade Cherry Pop) and a red Max Factor lipgloss. I think that this look is perfect for winter, as a red lip suits all seasons. This is very long lasting, and I would recommend trying these products. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is an Autumn makeup look, with a golden/copper eye and a berry lip. This is one of my favourite looks for Autumn as it is such a warm look and it feels very light on the skin.<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiJ2o9BqT6GYq2iJRboZLKWN9ObeSNQz8pG6GZKfeHx1IPWS64DmuN8NMDIv2bCLPksKhau4VL-q4hfI0b6quzl0SaiFHp_4acAytCv6nxZ0Gs_JyWrljj5hBvfFlsprLFBPZzdxtW_us/s640/blogger-image--1386896572.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiJ2o9BqT6GYq2iJRboZLKWN9ObeSNQz8pG6GZKfeHx1IPWS64DmuN8NMDIv2bCLPksKhau4VL-q4hfI0b6quzl0SaiFHp_4acAytCv6nxZ0Gs_JyWrljj5hBvfFlsprLFBPZzdxtW_us/s640/blogger-image--1386896572.jpg" /></a>These are all of the products that I used to create this look. To start with, I used the MUA pro-base primer as this helps reduce the appearance of pores and keep my makeup on for longer. I followed this up with the Maybelline fit me concealer on any blemishes and then the Rimmel wake me up concealer to brighten under my eyes. After this, I applied the Bourjois 123 perfect foundation, as I wanted a higher coverage whilst having colour-correcting pigments to even out my skin tone. To set my makeup I used the Rimmel clear complexion powder, like always. I then lightly contoured with the MUA bronzer, as in Autumn it is better to have natural-looking skin, rather than a dark contour. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
To start the eyes, I applied the golden tone from the Stila in the moment palette all over my eyelid for a base colour. I then applied the pink tone in the outer half of my eyelid. I then took the copper tone from the MUA twelfth night palette, and applied this in my crease and extended it out to achieve a cut-crease style effect. I then blended the colours together, and applied a little bit more of the copper shade in my crease, before applying the lightest shade from the Stila palette in the inner corner of my eye, as well as the golden tone underneath my lower lash line. I then tightlined with the Maybelline big eyes eyeliner, as this can make eyelashes appear fuller. I then curled my eyelashes and applied a few coats of the Eyeko black magic mascara. To finish the eyes, I filled in my eyebrows with the Primark brow powder. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
For my lips, I started off by using a dark pink lip liner just to outline my lips, as I find this is very important when wearing a dark lipstick. I then applied the Kiko smart lipstick in the shade 914 as this is a perfect berry shade for Autumn. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK4iNrepyWQhqPffJg_FH9DTQfGnN6NdXmHuStRAfRyTLena8MioCll1-fXqKn9T1KwbFi2sFmaTvsjpeIjHoU1uUiCggoEplbd4h9ic9RytqQj2w58tiU0qGsLAvDjLTrAZToVh1aQe0/s640/blogger-image-965935423.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK4iNrepyWQhqPffJg_FH9DTQfGnN6NdXmHuStRAfRyTLena8MioCll1-fXqKn9T1KwbFi2sFmaTvsjpeIjHoU1uUiCggoEplbd4h9ic9RytqQj2w58tiU0qGsLAvDjLTrAZToVh1aQe0/s640/blogger-image-965935423.jpg" /></a>This is the finished makeup look, and I think that I will be wearing this quite a lot throughout this season.</div>

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is similar to last weeks, and this week I will be sharing my personal favourites from the budget brand Collection. </span></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKQ6lRxtnRmSHZzM-dcZFLr6SCGsaona_PPl60GiweDJhEzvFF5rmIq-NfUu3XZcT5gqE5Nsc2Py4kOM6xWcs0nEcMOlnNbbRNFLx-8EjYybwib7DpHWE0fbAIXBkQg1LTKgmBJxWyWO4/s640/blogger-image--1354726342.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKQ6lRxtnRmSHZzM-dcZFLr6SCGsaona_PPl60GiweDJhEzvFF5rmIq-NfUu3XZcT5gqE5Nsc2Py4kOM6xWcs0nEcMOlnNbbRNFLx-8EjYybwib7DpHWE0fbAIXBkQg1LTKgmBJxWyWO4/s640/blogger-image--1354726342.jpg"></a>These are all of my favourites from the brand. Firstly, my all time favourite product is the Lasting Perfection Concealer. This concealer is very thick, so it has excellent coverage and it also lasts for a very long time, and I would recommend trying this if you haven't already. </div></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I have two favourite powders. Firstly, I like the Pressed Powder, as it is really cheap, however the price doesn't reflect the quality. It is only about £2, but the product is really good and I have used quite a lot of it. I also like the Sheer Loose Powder as you get a lot of product for a low price, and this is also an excellent powder. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My final favourite face product is the Mosaic Bronze Glow. This bronzer helps to give the skin a natural bronze glow, but it doesn't achieve the full contoured effect. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">For eyes, I only have three favourites. The first is the Eyes Uncovered Palette. This is a good quality eyeshadow palette with 6 shades in. Each shade is very pigmented, and they all work well together. There is more than one palette, so you can create a variety of makeup looks. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I also love the Eyebrow Pencil, as it looks very natural. The only downside is it only comes in three colours, but they are basic colours so they will suit a variety of eyebrow shades. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My final favourite is the Waterproof Lengthening Mascara. This mascara really helps the lashes to look very long, however it doesn't make them look very fake. This mascara also lasts for a very long time as it's waterproof. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Much love, Cara xxx</div>Cara Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415979377880890012noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743427432149267167.post-36240038225030946042015-11-07T15:28:00.001+00:002015-11-07T15:28:51.228+00:00Best of RimmelHey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. In today's post I share with you my personal favourites from the drugstore brand Rimmel. I think Rimmel is one of the best drugstore brands, and I will definitely be repurchasing all of these products when they run out. <div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAtbac5nP68F7Gk-u6bYde0bwaBEZfLFk2kpCnnWvLsGS1cm3dHM3RXRn6f4iACVY8KG2uyRH6bTFMov1mA0FDMd87WU-vChsM16BXYqYMVzgu86xp6J9O5xhMo_wIQrxhpb7rtIunbg8/s640/blogger-image--1665606578.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAtbac5nP68F7Gk-u6bYde0bwaBEZfLFk2kpCnnWvLsGS1cm3dHM3RXRn6f4iACVY8KG2uyRH6bTFMov1mA0FDMd87WU-vChsM16BXYqYMVzgu86xp6J9O5xhMo_wIQrxhpb7rtIunbg8/s640/blogger-image--1665606578.jpg"></a>My first favourite is the Wake Me Up foundation. This foundation is the most expensive Rimmel foundation, however it is the best. It has good coverage, and it leaves skin with a dewy finish, but doesn't look glittery. I also love the Wake Me Up concealer, and this is a highlighting concealer perfect for covering up dark circles under your eyes. My final favourite face product is the Clear Complexion powder. This is my all time favourite powder, however the only negative is it breaks really easily. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My favourite mascara is also from the Wake Me Up range, as this mascara works really well and helps give a dramatic look, without giving the spider eyes effect. For lips, I only have two favourites from Rimmel. The first is the Moisture Renew lipstick. This lipstick is very pigmented, and also very moisturising, and it is one of my go-to lipsticks all year round. My final favourite is the Rimmel Apocalips, and they are like liquid lipsticks. They last for a very long time on the lips and they also come in a range of colours to suit every skin tone. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">So that's it for today's post, I hope you enjoyed it. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Much love, Cara xxx</div><br></div>Cara Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415979377880890012noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743427432149267167.post-72092177275765091102015-10-31T18:25:00.001+00:002015-11-01T08:10:12.308+00:00Idk to call thisHey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is very last minute as I didn't like my original post, and I wanted to keep to my upload schedule. <div><br><div>Firstly, I hope you're having/had an excellent Halloween. I spent mine with my friends and we had an excellent time and took way too many selfies. </div><div><br></div><div>Secondly I want to apologise if this seems bad quality, I didn't have the time to spend as long on this post as I normally do, and my laptop is currently broken so I have to post from my phone. </div><div><br></div><div>Lastly, I want to thank the person who edited one of my pictures from the last post <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNlgzSBfpwlGORRMx86Ok5KfxXYva6aUgCktT3n11SvjpeuH7y4v7phwfovA266xowd9ixkuP1gGry9zz4Tkz8hHAPliXvtzTJlsxtEXoWhCwndG1_K4CbcLd5GXOp1AEkAqo2IGFDcDw/s640/blogger-image--666101465.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNlgzSBfpwlGORRMx86Ok5KfxXYva6aUgCktT3n11SvjpeuH7y4v7phwfovA266xowd9ixkuP1gGry9zz4Tkz8hHAPliXvtzTJlsxtEXoWhCwndG1_K4CbcLd5GXOp1AEkAqo2IGFDcDw/s640/blogger-image--666101465.jpg"></a></div></div><div><br></div><div>I am very grateful that you have done this, and I really like it. </div><div><br></div><div>So that's it for today's post, much love, Cara xxx</div></div>Cara Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415979377880890012noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2743427432149267167.post-9530806953398774852015-10-27T17:47:00.002+00:002016-02-16T11:23:02.556+00:00My trip to the park<br />
Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is uploaded irregularly because I went to the park with my friend today and took some really nice photos, and I wanted to share them with you. I really enjoyed taking these photos, and I am really pleased with the way they all turned out and I hope you enjoy looking at them.<br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. In today's post I share my autumn 2015 foundation routine with you.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkcJdW7IyYSzRO7TlB5eiNZuUgmBHvV28Jq4hkND0o-Gp5v05oAmpP3GUqjH9a-Y6FtLRUO2W4iGNpdCjJwuZwoys6VmhgQtYRgBu7aLbvUGHUuthqfowkY_ZnEaKswg8tv4FAvVGY-HI/s1600/image1+%25285%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkcJdW7IyYSzRO7TlB5eiNZuUgmBHvV28Jq4hkND0o-Gp5v05oAmpP3GUqjH9a-Y6FtLRUO2W4iGNpdCjJwuZwoys6VmhgQtYRgBu7aLbvUGHUuthqfowkY_ZnEaKswg8tv4FAvVGY-HI/s320/image1+%25285%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">These are all of the products that I use before foundation/to set my foundation. To begin with I use a primer, and this one is from George. I find that primer is a crucial step in any makeup routine, as it really helps your makeup sit better on your face. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Once my primer has dried, I like to apply the Clinique Custom Repair serum to help my skin stay hydrated throughout the day. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">After this, I like to use concealer. I prefer to do this before I apply foundation because my concealer is not the exact same shade as my foundation, so by applying concealer first I can ensure that my whole face is the same shade. To cover my under-eye circles, I like to use the Seventeen Phwoarr Paint as it is a really good coverage concealer, and then to highlight under my eyes I apply the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer. I follow this up with the Maybelline Fit Me concealer to hide any blemishes, as it provides really good coverage for the price. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My current favourite foundation is the Bourjois 123 Perfect colour correcting foundation. I find that this foundation covers redness really well, and has all the properties of a BB cream, but has better coverage. I usually apply two pumps of this to the back of my hand, and then dot it around my face with my finger. I prefer to blend it in with a beauty blender, and then use a stippling brush to ensure that it is fully blended in. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The final step is to set my makeup. I most commonly use the Rimmel Clear Complexion powder as I find that it really helps to keep my makeup in place.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOk1kf0s87_eATKcqxv6v3E0YgznbmUd05bH5KCG5hiUVYKXR5mRCSLAwJEB19DUMKHqQsPOuTWgdD9LCBal9f4k6pVqIBIM4cOzzLqHxaRXhwYunWBuO-Pb2ZAi4jW5UcO7NnRxX-ynA/s1600/image2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOk1kf0s87_eATKcqxv6v3E0YgznbmUd05bH5KCG5hiUVYKXR5mRCSLAwJEB19DUMKHqQsPOuTWgdD9LCBal9f4k6pVqIBIM4cOzzLqHxaRXhwYunWBuO-Pb2ZAi4jW5UcO7NnRxX-ynA/s200/image2.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the end result of my foundation routine, and I really like the way it looks and feels.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hey everyone</span><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">, </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">welcome to my blog. I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's post is a no makeup makeup look, which is very natural and great for a lazy day.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMa1X7JJh4I7-8PVSmdTUU85Wyk4zIf_ruuBnTRiy5cuWBy2lCm-Jk49oMTRuUEtI86S1RGQ2PokQ3YB4PCbO9KpX9CTExBdrR4Ppl7Re0S09IpbJpdgb_z-f0zyw7E8dKYJRNdsF7yDk/s1600/image1+%25284%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMa1X7JJh4I7-8PVSmdTUU85Wyk4zIf_ruuBnTRiy5cuWBy2lCm-Jk49oMTRuUEtI86S1RGQ2PokQ3YB4PCbO9KpX9CTExBdrR4Ppl7Re0S09IpbJpdgb_z-f0zyw7E8dKYJRNdsF7yDk/s320/image1+%25284%2529.JPG" width="240" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">These are all the products that I used to achieve this look. I started off by priming my face with the <i>George Face Primer</i> to achieve a smooth base for the rest of my makeup, and it also helps keep my makeup on for longer. After this, I applied the <i>Maybelline Fit Me </i>concealer to hide any redness, blemishes and under eye circles. This concealer provides really good coverage, and it is my favourite concealer at the moment. I then used the <i>Maybelline Dream Pure </i>BB cream as it is a lot lighter than a foundation, so it helps achieve a more natural look. To set all my makeup in place I used the <i>Rimmel Clear Complexion </i>powder.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I decided not to use bronzer as it can look very unnatural, so I only used blusher to give my cheeks a natural glow. I decided to use the <i>MUA </i>blusher in the shade cupcake, and I applied this to the apples of my cheeks. I then lightly filled in my eyebrows with the eyebrow pencil from Rimmel, as I didn't want it to be too obvious that they had been filled in. I followed this with the collection clear mascara to set them in place. After this, I applied two coats of the <i>Natural Collection Waterguard</i> mascara, as it is a long-lasting, waterproof mascara that doesn't give a very dramatic look. To finish off the look, I applied the <i>Benebalm </i>from Benefit to add a natural tint to my lips and also moisturise them.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So that's it for this post, I hope you enjoyed it. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Hey everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today's post is about how I take off my makeup, and where most people us the cleanse, tone and moisturise routine, I have found a longer routine that ensures all makeup is removed.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYo9pKv-HwhK3zI_IqMOXT-PwCe4iKROSIX0SLA1PpOF0Bnh48a0w12-kIs6d1zYuKHcZyU660O2eGa3BMqZaAjiiRvZijZ8JaxG_hccqyb4YfLUgt6lVTaswtMHhO8sZSMQU7v7eSrv8/s1600/image1+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><img border="0" height="186" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYo9pKv-HwhK3zI_IqMOXT-PwCe4iKROSIX0SLA1PpOF0Bnh48a0w12-kIs6d1zYuKHcZyU660O2eGa3BMqZaAjiiRvZijZ8JaxG_hccqyb4YfLUgt6lVTaswtMHhO8sZSMQU7v7eSrv8/s200/image1+%25283%2529.JPG" width="200" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">So as you can see, I use quite a lot of products. I start off with a face wipe from Primark, as these wipes are really good at removing the initial layer of makeup. These wipes come in a pack of 25, and you get two packs for £1, which I think is a really good price. I then use a cleanser, and this one if from the Superdrug Vitamin E skincare range, and this was £5. Like the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, this is a hot cloth cleanser, where you apply the cleanser to your face and use a hot muslin cloth to remove it, and this product is very good at getting off the majority of my makeup.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">After this, I use the Garnier micellar water to remove any leftover makeup, which I then follow with the cleansing lotion, also by Garnier. The cleansing lotion is also moisturising, so it is a great way to put some moisture back into your skin after using a few products. I follow this up with the Clean & Clear cleansing lotion, as this is an excellent skincare product that helps prevent breakouts. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">I then like to use a toner to help tighten my pores, and my current favourite is from Simple, and it is the soothing toner. I find that this product has excellent results and is an affordable product. My final step in my makeup removal routine is to moisturise, as using so many products can dry out your skin. My preferred moisturiser is from Simple, and it is the light moisturiser which also has SPF 15 in, as it makes my skin feel so soft.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Youtube:<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYkCCAL11bX4r4-IJaAipdg" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYkCCAL11bX4r4-IJaAipdg</a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">So that's it for today's post, I hope you guys enjoyed it.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Much love, Cara xxx</span>Cara Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415979377880890012noreply@blogger.com0
